Bhujodi is around 12 kms from Ajrakhpur. We took leave of Aftabbhai and Yusufbhai and proceeded to witness the art of Bhujodi sari weaving.
Kala cotton is only found in this part of the world being the most organic. The farmers do not use any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. It is purely rain fed crop highly resistant to disease and pests.
What we saw was just as we had heard. Almost every household has a loom and a workshop where weaving is done. The whole family is involved in the craft of weaving bhujodi fabrics.
